During the month of February we worked 🦾 to enhance the functionality of some services, with the aim of significantly improving your user experience on the platform.
Let's see the news together:
Talky Time - New billing mode 💰
At CloudFire we don't like to limit anyone, both in the choices of a particular service and in the billing methods. This is why the Development Team has been working hard to add an additional option for billing Team Users on Talky Time.
You can choose between:
- Pay per usage 📊: the mode you have used to date, with which you connect unlimited Microsoft Team Users and pay only for actual consumption;
- Pay per Allocation 🔒: the mode just added, with which you choose to buy a number of pre-allocated Microsoft Teams users, in addition to which you will not be able to connect others.
What you have to do now is choose between the maximum flexibility 🤸 Pay per Usage or the maximum control 🔎of Pay per Allocation.

We have inaugurated the new region of Bologna (BO-1) for Veeam Cloud Platform! 💥
You can now manage the functionality of Backup Resources and Disaster Recovery independently on the two available regions, obtaining a centralized solution for storing the copy of backup data at a distance of more than one region from production data. This allows you to satisfy easily business continuity and compliance requirements.
We have also revised the section of settings, integrating:
- The backup settings related to Advanced bandwith management and WAN acceleration based on the selected region;
- Resetting the login password to Veeam Cloud Connect and Veeam Availability Suite divided by region;
- The region setting displayed as default when you log in to the service;
In the coming months we will also be adding other regions 🇧🇪 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇪🇸 🇳🇱, so Stay Tuned!
➕ Boosting the user invitation
Inviting colleagues and collaborators to your Cortex Account becomes even easier and faster 🕐.
Now, through a dedicated page, you have the option to choose, between:
- Invitation code generation 🔡🔢, which you must communicate to the new user to allow them to access your Acount.
- Sending an e-mail 📧 to the person concerned, inside which you can find the code and the instructions to register independently.
Regardless of how you invite, you can always assign the roles of Admin 🔑, Sales 🤑 , Accounting 💰, Technician 🤖 or Read-Only 🧐 to the new invited user.
