What's new December 2022 in CloudFire

Between a few days off work 🎉 and Christmas holidays 💫 we definitely didn't stop in December, even if we may have just slowed down developments in Cortex.

The development team focused on improving some services and laying the foundations for a very important section such as the cost summary.

🧮 Cost Summary

‍

Over the past few weeks, we've been working hard to make the cost summary section even more transparent 🔍 and detailed 🧾 inside Cortex.

Until now, this section reported only your monthly consumption related to the services activated on Cortex, leaving out all orders and contracts signed externally with your Account Manager. Now, however, all this data is accessible from a single point, completely aligned with what is reported on the invoice, to give you a global view of the costs 💰 associated with your Account.

The cost summary section is now divided into:

• Overview 🌎 in which you can find a summary of the data detailed in the following sections;
• Services 🧰 in which all the pay-per-usage consumer services for the current month are highlighted, divided by Customer and Partner, and from where you can request details of consumption and telephone traffic;
• Orders 📜 which indicates the products ordered with one-time costs and in which you can access the relative detail;
• Contracts 📑 where you can find special subscriptions for a monthly fee, with possible one-time costs, linked to predetermined contractual constraints.

📈 Service Improvements

• Acronis Cyber Backup: find the new product available now 💥 by Advanced Data Loss Prevention ⚔️ by Acronis. This additional functionality makes provisioning and managing specific policies to prevent data loss even easier. In fact, Advanced DLP allows you to automatically generate DLP policies in order to prevent data leaks from customer workloads through peripheral devices or network communications and adapt those policies to your needs. • Talky Time:
  To improve the security of SIP Accounts, now the option that makes them accessible only from CloudFire networks is set by default;
  Enhanced the PBX Providers: now it is possible to specify both the internal PBX and the Microsoft interior to which it will be connected;
• Drive 4 Business: 🔄 Updated the download links for D4B agents for macOS and Win10.
