For this reason, the development of Backup Smart (now Acronis Cyber Backup), had to meet a great many requirements right from the start. First and foremost, the ability to manage the service from a single dashboard, capable of providing full visibility within a structurally complex environment.
We did need a functionally complete solution. A solution that could not only schedule backups, but also ensure maximum security and reliability through encryption of transmitted data and highly efficient recovery management.
Last but not least, the optimisation of Wan traffic had to be guaranteed to increase the performance level of the geographical networks used.

What does the future hold for us?
We are currently studying the adoption of Acronis Cyber Infrastructure, a solution that offers Cloud Providers the possibility to grow in terms of infrastructure services. Through the adoption of this service we will be able to activate new business scenarios, offering our customers the possibility to continue using their "on premises" infrastructure, whilst delegating its management to us for a monthly fee.
